In order to create the purest water through reverse osmosis, the water effectively gets split between good and bad, The good is kept, the bad goes to waste.
Most domestic systems operate at very best on a ratio of 1 good to 3 bad which is the ratio of our standard 5 stage systems.
On some of the cheaper import membranes the ratio can be as low as 1 good to 10 bad. To put this in to context, every time you fill your kettle, you would use 20 litres of water.
This unique membrane will only waste 2 litres to fill the same kettle, saving you money if your water supply is metered and also helping to save valuable water which is also good for the environment.
Five Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System with Pump

This pumped version of the Standard 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis system is suitable for use with low pressure systems. The pump takes up no extra space but does require a power supply. The pump runs from a pressure switch so does not run all the time. Membrane filters produce better filtration results at high pressure. This pumped unit allows the water to pass through the membrane at higher pressure; the advantage being not only a purer quality water but also a faster refill rate for the tank.
Using a five stage water filtration system, the EMWC Reverse Osmosis delivers unrivalled quality in water filtration.
1st Stage Water filter 5 micron polypropylene filter (life span 6 months approx.)
Removes all particles above 5 micron from the water supply. This includes metals and general water sediment.
2nd Stage Carbon water filter (life span 6 months approx.)
Removes, Herbicides, Pesticides, Trihalomethanes, Chlorine, organic chemicals, Lead and Aluminium.
3rd Stage Water filter 1 micron polypropylene (life span 6 months approx.)
Removes all particles above 1 micron from the water supply. This includes any remaining water sediment.
4th Stage 50gpd membrane (life span 18 months approx.) This membrane will remove micro plastics from water. The membrane creates the finest filtration, the treated water is forced through the membrane and any un-pure water is discarded allowing just pure filtered water to enter the pressurised holding tank. Because of its unique design the membrane will recover up to 50% of the incoming water.
5th Stage In Line Activated Carbon water filter (life span 6 months approx.)
The final stage of filtration. Once the tap is opened, the water goes through a final carbon water filter that effectively polishes the water prior to consumption thus creating the purest water that you are ever likely to taste.
